3lb Raw Wildcrafted Honduran Seamoss

Authentic wild seamoss gets its minerals from the rocks it grows on found on many coastlines around the world. Dr. Sebi would harvest the local Hondurian seamoss found growing along the coastline. The prestine waters of Honduras makes this type of seamoss very sought after as it is the same type consumed by Dr Sebi himself. 

This type of seamoss is not pool or ocean farmed like some that come from St Lucia in the Caribbean. Those types that are pool or ocean farmed are void of minerals because it doesn't grow naturally on rocky coastlines like the Hondurian seamoss.

Preparing this type of seamoss for making seamoss gel is different from other types and requires simmering in hot spring water then blended. So please use a blender container that is high heat resistant when making Hondurian seamoss gel. Detailed instructions can be found on my Linktree link under the contact section.

How To Prepare Sea Moss:

Rinse and soak 2oz dry sea moss for 30 min with enough spring water to cover.

After soaking start cleaning it of any sea debris and removing any rocks still attached. Continue to rinse and discard water until water appears clear and cleaned of any sea debris and rocks.

Optional: add key limes while soaking the sea moss to neutralize the taste.

Bring 3 to 4 cups of spring water to a boil in a pot (3 cups for thicker texture and add more for smoother smoothie texture). Then turn down heat to lowest setting and add cleaned raw seamoss and let simmer for about 10 to 15min on low heat.

Let the cooked seamoss cool down in the pot before adding entire contents, both the seamoss and spring water, in a blender and blend until smooth or to your liking. 

Pour the blended seamoss gel into a glass container and let sit uncapped to cool off before storing in the fridge and not freezer overnight to gel up.

Store in a glass jar and refrigerate for up to 4 weeks.

Full spectrum gracilaria sea moss is a source of 92 minerals rich in beta carotene, vitamin B, C, trace minerals such as iodine magnesium, manganese calcium, phosphorus.
