Batana oil comes from the American Palm Tree (Elaeis Oleifera). The indigenous people of Miskito produce the oil and are called the “Tawira”, meaning people of beautiful hair. They have been using this oil for hundreds of years.
The scent of the oil is sort of an earthy smell and will catch you off guard at first. I would say that it resembles the smell of coffee. The oil is familiar in texture to coconut oil the way it gets slightly solid at room temperature and liquefies in warmer temperatures. The oil’s composition includes high levels of oleic and linoleic acid with lower levels of palmitic acid and other saturated fatty acids.
Batana oil promotes hair growth and strengthening of hair as well as less breakage, shinier, fuller and an overall healthier hair. Batana Oil is 100% pure and natural and free from any dyes, additives or fillers. It is pure Batana oil in its raw form.
Batana oil also works as an all- natural dye by naturally darkening grey and white hairs back to your natural hair color. This oil is not only great for your hair but has some amazing skin benefits too. Fades scars and stretch marks, skin exfoliation, skin emollient.
Rub a small amount on your hands and apply liberally to your hair and scalp. You can also put the oil onto your scalp and hair overnight, washing it out the following morning. You can aslo put oil in your hair and scalp and leave it in without washing out. 2 oz.
