Dandelion Root

Preparation:

1–2 teaspoons per 8–10 oz hot water, steeped 15–20 minutes, 1–2 cups per day depending on your stomach pattern.

Special notes with Cuachalalate:

Because Cuachalalate is a bark, it can be steeped longer or simmered 5–10 minutes if you want a stronger decoction feel; you can also keep it as a small piece outside the main blend and add it to each cup.

Use this blend cyclically (for example, 4–6 weeks on, then 2–4 off), especially if targeting chronic inflammation or ulcers. 

Avoid or reduce if stools are loose, or if on strong gut meds or anticoagulants without practitioner guidance.

Precautions:

Stop or reduce if you notice loose stools (yellow dock is mildly laxative).

Avoid or use with professional guidance if pregnant, nursing, on strong gut meds, or on blood thinners.

Use this blend in cycles (for example, 4–6 weeks on, 2–4 weeks off), especially when targeting chronic inflammation or ulcers.
